DigitalCAD.com Announces Winners of the A/E/C SYSTEMS 2001 Best Awards

The A/E/C SYSTEMS 2001 Best Awards were chosen from newly released and upgraded products presented at the A/E/C SYSTEMS 2001 Show, in Chicago, IL. In order to qualify for the award, exhibiting companies submitted products that were newly released or upgraded in the last 90 days. Awards were given out based on unique product features and perceived overall impact from product on the AEC industry. Winners included Meridian Project Systems for the Prolog Pocket for Palm OS Handhelds, @Last Software for SketchUp 1.2, Bentley Systems, Inc. for Architecture for MicroStation TriForma, Revit Technology Corporation for Revit 3.1, e-Builder, Inc. for TeamBuilder 5.0, TRIRIGA for Intelligent Business System and Web4, Inc. for eReview. Meridian Project Systems, A/E/C SYSTEMS 2001 Booth #1510, won for Prolog Pocket for the Palm OS Handheld. With Prolog Pocket, AEC professionals can manage and track their jobs from the field using a Palm computer. Its topological modeling capabilities for free-form solids and complex surfaces give architects freedom to create models of virtually any form.
Revit Technology Corporation, A/E/C SYSTEMS 2001 Booth # 805, won for Revit 3.1. Revit release 3.1 includes powerful new features to support AEC professionals in their design and documentation tasks. Features include model-based collaboration through worksets, 4D design and documentation using phasing.
e-Builder, Inc., A/E/C SYSTEMS 2001 Booth #1819, won for TeamBuilder 5.0. TeamBuilder 5.0 assists owners, contractors, architects and engineers in managing communication with project teams through a project or program specific web site. Functionality includes supercharged workflow, intelligent faxing, virtual private plan room, xreference management, offline file management, executive summary, external notification engine, public folders and enhanced reporting.

Web4, Inc., A/E/C SYSTEMS 2001 Booth #2201, won for eReview. eReview is a Java-based software that combines simple ways to conduct online meetings with real-time view and annotation capabilities.
