A few
weeks ago, I got to test-drive eReview and I must say, I was impressed.
It was easy to communicate, to view and manipulate documents and drawings.
And it was flexible, an overused word but one which applies here, since
meeting participants are able to, independent of the meeting, take advantage
of capabilities such as zoon and view different documents during the
meeting without affecting the meeting leader's agenda. -- Denise Harrison
eReview
is a Web-based collaboration system in which attendees
can retrieve, view and annotate documents and drawings together in a
real-time. It is application independent, meaning I don't need to have
AutoCAD loaded to participate in an AutoCAD collaboration. That's great
when hiring non-CAD software users to help with installations.

The
meeting chairperson has authority to control attendee permissions, including
viewer privileges, markup and annotation, and control of the meeting.
eReview allows selective markups and redacting, and one of the truly
handy features is that it can let the person uploading a document block
certain confidential or proprietary portions of the document from specified
attendees. Permissions don't have to be set in stone before the meeting
-- they can be changed at any time during the meeting by the leader.
